Bellmead Memorial Park is a place of remembrance, reflection, and community. Located in front of the Bellmead Municipal Court Building, this beautifully designed greenspace serves as a tribute to those who have served our country and community. It stands as a testament to the dedication, resilience, and sacrifice of our heroes.

A Tribute to the Fallen

The park features a granite memorial fountain and dedicated flagpoles, symbolizing the strength and unity of our nation. Along the seating area’s back wall in front of the flagpoles, medallions representing the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard are prominently displayed to honor the brave men and women who have served in these branches of the military. 

A Community-Centered Space

Bellmead Memorial Park is more than a tribute—it is a place for the community to gather, reflect, and celebrate. The park offers:

• Seating areas for quiet reflection.
• Green spaces and flower beds to create a peaceful environment.
• A gathering area for events, ceremonies, and special dedications.

Dedication and Recognition

The park was officially dedicated on January 10, 2019, in a ceremony attended by community leaders, veterans, and residents. The dedication featured a flag-raising ceremony, the unveiling of the memorial fountain, and a remembrance service honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

We extend our gratitude to the City of Bellmead, Bellmead Economic Development Corporation, Home Depot, Italian Granite, and many generous contributors for making this park a reality.
